Did you notice the calendar yet? It's November already - how did that happen??? Where has this year gone already? That being said, naturally, it's also Wednesday today and I've yet to write this week at all - so sorry about that, though I have appreciate all of your fabulous comments on my new quilt pattern, Fabricland. I've been sewing like gangbusters, but not feeling like I'm making a boatload of progress, so I've been a bit quiet, but I'm about to turn a corner here so I should be more chatty real soon :)
Finished:
Fabricland pattern
Still going:
X and O baby quilt - I've finished the quilt top, just need to make up the back and the binding, and it'll be done! I fully intend to write up a little tutorial on how to make this quilt as well, so stay tuned for that.
Custom queen-sized red and white zig zag quilt - I've been sewing like a madwoman on this one, and I'm three seams away from finishing the quilt top, but alas, didn't have the energy last night to finish it out, so here's a sneak peek in the meantime...please pardon the seriously badly lit photo, though...
Little Apples baby quilt - Unfortunately, no inspiration yet on this one, I'm still hoping to figure out the perfect quilt for these adorable little fabrics. I plan to spend some time with my iPod and my sketchpad this week, and I'm hoping inspiration will strike!
Farmer's Wife QAL - I was thisclose to actually doing a Farmer's Wife block yesterday, but I really felt like I could finish up my custom quilt top, so I powered through. I will definitely be doing at least one Farmer's Wife block this week, though, I'm actually missing them - especially after seeing Michelle's awesome FW quilt!!

Love it all Mrs. Elizabeth! Fabricland is just so cool (still love the story about your dad on that one!) and the X's and O's quilt is very cute. Can't wait to see more of the red and white! I'm working on a red and white myself!
ReplyDeleteHi! I love the Fabricland and hoping one day to make it! Baby quilt is going to be wonderful and that custom order - wow it reminds me so much about one fabric from 'Marimekko' (famous Finnish company)! We used to have that fabric at red/white and green/white at home when I was a child.
