I love this tutorial! So simple and economical. I finished Luke's quilt last night. Next, I'm going to finish up my Christmas quilt. I have a few other smallish things (zippy pouches for teachers, etc), but I think I'm in pretty good shape!

yeah! love the quilt, the kona cotton card and the patterns. i'm desperately trying to finish up the new stockings, tree skirt and garland for my home. i decided last year to make new stockings because i didn't love the old ones and we've added two kids since i made the last set. trying to finish this weekend before the thanksgiving craziness sets in! thanks.

I was just saying on my blog today that I needed charm pack quilt ideas! Yea!
I have 3 bags to make out of a friend's Sunbonnet Sue remnants (a quilt her grandmother made that I took apart for her and made pillows; these were the 3 leftovers). I also need to come up with an idea for my 9th grade niece. Maybe a cell phone pouch.

I have a laptop bag and smaller phone holder to complete for my nephew. 2 small camera bags for my husband. I am currently hand stitching a pincushion while I sit at his beside (he is in hospital at the moment) I hope both you and your daughter get lots of rest and take care and my prayers are for your return to full health very soon.

Glad to hear you're feeling better - hope that little munchkin of yours is much better, too! I recently bought a layer cake of wild designs called Terrain by Kate Spain. Don't have a pattern in mind yet, but want to whip something up as a Christmas gift for my 25-year old daughter who moved out of state this year. To Seattle. Which is wet and rainy and dreary, and maybe this will help brighten her days! At least it will be fun working with all those patterns and colors!
